Machine overflow and underflow error

I need to write a matlab code that generate machine over flow and underflow error for that i need to evaluate M^n m may be an integer and n increases from 1 to n such that it exceeds machine limt an d generate erreor

Do you mean for integer classes such as int8, uint16, etc., you want to detect when an operation overflows/saturates?
