Calculate the damping from a signal

Hi to everyone,

I have the following signal and i want to calculate the damping ration.

Is it possible to use a function in Matlab to calculate it directly?

I don't see any signal being damped, according to my definition of it. What is your definition? What do you expect the output to be for your question and that particular signal? If some signal is damped, don't you have to have some original signal or at least some estimation of it?
