R2011a Mac OS X Menu

Colleagues, it's written that new release has it's menu integrated into global mac menu. I've installed. Menu is not integrated... What to check ? Latest release of snow leopard, freshly downloaded R2011a.

After investigations by Mr. Cyclist and Ken Atwell the solution was found. Stateflow blocks menu integration in Mac OS X.

So you still have the menu bar in the development environment window, and not along the top of your machine? Weird. Mine is integrated, as claimed.
I will try this long shot, so please don't be insulted! If you are calling MATLAB from the Dock, any chance it is still calling R2010b (or whatever you used to have installed)? The dock icon has to be deleted and replaced to call the newly installed version.

or yeah, I call it from the dock... but the thing is that I deleted r2010b few months ago :)
Is there any need to clear some cache or user files... it's really possible that smth has left from previous installations... ideas ?

From the MATLAB command window, execute the "ver" command. Does that indicate that you are running 2011a, or 2010b?

100% r2011a...
7.12.0.635 (R2011a) and it's written in MATLAB window.
Actually, I didn't want to disturb support team for this question... But is seems to me that I have to do it... I've cleaned MacOSX for all intstances of MATLAB occurance and "grep"ed via shell... Tried to reinstall and downloaded again. Still I have this menu not in global menu.

I agree with you that this sounds like a support issue. It's a mystery to me. You might want to answer your own question here if you find out what's going on, for the benefit of others who search for this.

I'll do it.

One exception to the use of top-of-the-screen menus in R2011a: If you have Stateflow installed, top-of-the-screen menus will not be used:

Do you have Stateflow installed, Denis?

Oh my. Yes I have. That is the trouble. I will not test, but I will believe. Thank you Ken. This was not so easy to find an answer.
