compensator design using matlab code

Is it possible to design a compensator without using simulink ?If yes,can anyone help me with a small code for it?

Hi Garima,

As Bandar mentioned, it is possible to design a compensator without SImulink. The Control System Desginer app along with MATLAB should help you do that with its automated compensator tuning capabilities. i have attached couple of documentation pages for this app to help you get started.
