Apply same patch object on multiple subplots

What is the most efficient way to apply the same patch object to two subplots on the same figure? I currently get the patch object shown only on the last subplot of the figure, but not the rest.

copyobj() the patch object into the axes of the subplot.
Note: if you try to set the Parent property of the patch to be the subplot, then it will move to that subplot rather than being duplicated. Any given object can only have one Parent, but you can use copyobj() to clone to place elsewhere.
