How can I load multiple photos and display them with the slider in guide?

Hi, I'm writing my bachelor thesis and I want to create aplication that:

• upload multiple images and display them like this:

This is begining of my code:

A while ago I wrote a small toolbox that does something like this - except I used two windows, one for a thumb-nail gallery, and one for the full-image display. I think that file-exchange submission (Imthumb) should have a number of code-pieces that you might benefit from.
