Regression Learner App does not recognize array or table as valid input, "Start session" button remains grayed out

I have an array of numbers with the first 6 columns representing inputs and the last column representing the target. A few NaNs are present, but no column is all NaNs. I wish to perform regression.
When I start the Regression Learner app, the dialog box asks me to select the data for import. Once I select that, its name appears at the top. But nothing appears in response or predictors boxes below, and the "Start session" button remains grayed out.
I cannot get past this point. I tried importing a table instead (again, all doubles) with no success. All of the data are simply numbers.

R2019a update 9 (.6.0.1472908) on a 2015 Mac PowerBook running Mojave 10.14.6
The problem is intermittent. I got it to work on the same kind of data for a while, then it simply stopped accepting inputs. The data are an approx. 5000 x 6 array of doubles.
Thanks,
Kevin

Given that it worked for a while, it must have been caused by another application running in the background. Try disabling/uninstalling any software that you installed recently.

I haven't installedany newsoftware in quite a while, other than updates to things.
Thanks for looking at this for me. I'm moving beyond this to other tools, since this doesn't work for me.

Hello,
I have a similar problem.
When I start the Regression Learner app, the dialog box asks me to import the data set variables. Once I imported that, I cannot import the response (it remains inactive/grey) and "Start session" button remains also inactive/grey. This problem was intermittent but is now recurrent since last week (while data are exactly the same).
If anyone has recommendations, I am intestered in!
Thanks in advance,
Cindy
