How can i Trigger NI INSTRUMENT

Hello all,
I am using NI 9223 AND NI 9269, i want to perform trig erred experiment, i mean if i send trigger signal the receiver should be ready for receiving the information wave, otherwise it should be in infinite loop checking for the trigger signal
How can i proceed please help me
