app designer UI Table with calculation ability

I find the UI Table only accepts numbers. For example, if the user inputs "1/sqrt(3)" or "1/3" in a cell of the table, then the cell will become "NaN".

Is there a good way to let the UI Table have some simple calculation ability?

You could leverage the "CellEditCallback" callback function of the uitable to add functionalities to any cell of the uitable. You could have a look at the following documentation page for more details:
