Presented code offers an extended example of combining Matlab and MySQL, in which we look at the single-week, all-files FEX download data made available in FEX submission 'A week on FEX', asking:
(a) what is the intraweek/intraday pattern of FEX download activity? (Admittedly, we have a single observation to rely on).
(b) which category's files were downloaded most over the week? (It's the last time you beat 'Statistics and probability', 'Wireless communications').
(c) which contributor's submissions were in greatest demand? (I knew it without crunching the numbers, Doug).
(d) which contributor poses the most determined challenge to The Hull Supremacy? :) (You inspired me, Nawaz).

We use Yannick Maret's mym Matlab/MySQL interface to communicate with the database; mym download link is provided in FEX submission 'Access a MySQL database', linked to below.
