Completed as part of my degree, this is a simple 2d FEA script with the default model a bike frame.

A model is defined using nodal coordinates. Forces and boundary conditions are set and element type (rod, beam or frame) can be selected.

The script outputs the displacement, strain, stress and forces.

Also included is a script to create an animated deformation plot. An example of which can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IiM5gC5jo8Q
