This is the second set of benchmark problem available to the control system test community. The test cases are generated using the design of experiments (DOE) and random test generate and select algorithm. The final set of 5 or 6 cases cover the complete model based requirements testing.
The DO178C supplement for Model Based Testing indicates what type of errors can be captured by the model based tests. This has been mimicked in the mutants file.
