1-dimensional DOST.zip
This archive contains:
1) dost.m: this function computes the discrete Stockwell coefficients of a given 1-dimensional signal;
2) idost.m: this function reconstruct the original signal from its Stockwell coefficients;
3) rearrange_dost.m: this function helps in visualizing the Stockwell coefficients in the classical time-frequency plane;
4) dost_tutorial.m: it provides an example on how to use the S-transform to analyze a signal.
The DOST and IDOST are FFT-FAST (O(NlogN)).
More comments on the S-transform, references and a detailed description of the algorithms used are given as comments in the m-files.
