This repository contains an update to the very useful 2003/2004 pa-wavplay File-Exchange submission by Matt Frear (File ID: #4017). Two modifications have been made:

1. WASAPI audio capability has been added.

2. The software now works with both 32-bit and 64-bit installations of Matlab.

The repository contains four 32-bit and four 64-bit MEX files for playing audio using ASIO, WASAPI, DirectX and Windows Audio.

The files pa_wavplay.m, pa_wavrecord.m, and pa_wavplayrecord.m provide m-file interfaces to these MEXs. Please see the 'help' for documentation.

The MEX files are built using the source *.cpp files provided in the repository. They relay on the open source PortAudio API (not provided).
