Efficient calculation of the modified Allan deviation

This script provides estimates of the modified Allan deviation for given values of tau for the input array of phase offsets (in seconds). The run time of the modified Allan deviation calculation is greatly reduced by a pre-filtering technique that averages adjacent phase values prior to Allan deviation calculation.
