Industrial-scale penicillin simulation (IndPenSimV2) is a first principles mathematical model of a Penicillium chrysogenum fermentation. The model developed here aims to serve as a valuable tool in the development of improved control strategies for industrial fermentations and can also be used for research and educational activities in monitoring, control and optimisation studies. This update includes a Raman spectroscopy simulation
