Generic function to perform LASSO on generalized linear model (GLM).

Function to generate a simple test dataset and call generic function to perform LASSO (least absolute shrinkage and selection operator) on generalized linear model (GLM). This has some very simple example code to demonstrate LASSO GLM. Based on code from the mathworks website and matlab documentation.
