A group of friends want to meet for lunch. Where should they go? It makes sense to meet in the middle, but what is "the middle" for a large group? This example will illustrate some different approaches to the problem by studying the situation for six friends residing around Washington DC. It leverages the Google Maps Directions API and Mapping Toolbox™ to identify promising locations.
