Modified-Multibond-Model-numerical-simulations
Runs the dynamic mass-spring-damper system illustrated in ForceBalance.png with any number of copies of the "substrate" interaction.
Instructions
CallMultibondCriticalStretch(Periodic or Harmonic)Potential.m , MultibondCriticalStretchRungeKutta(Periodic or Harmonic)Potential.m, and CalcResults(Periodic or Harmonic)Potential.m must be in the same folder.
Choose the mechanical and dynamic parameters you wish to use on lines 8-28. You may on line 9.
Run CallMultibondCriticalStretch(Periodic or Harmonic)Potential.m
CalcResults(Periodic or Harmonic)Potential.m produces a vector C with the following information:
T(temperature)
NoiseMultiplier(zeta)
N(number of sites)
ns(eta substrate)
nc(etacantilever)
nu(eta zub+eta cant)
theta(eta cant/eta nu)
ks(substrate spring constant)
kccantilever spring constant)
Noise Param(the noise parameter)
tTot(total time)
tStep(the time step)
V(speed)
Ff(mean friction)
Std Ff(standard deviation of the friction)
t-Not-Bonded(percenttime not bonded)
Max Ff(the maximum Ff)
First-Slip-Ff(the Ff at the first slip)
