AdvExpFig can export all the formats that the MATLAB's print function supports plus it can also create 4 additional formats (jpg,pdf,png,tiff) by using the eps format as an intermediary format. This way "nice" figures can be created for publishing using LaTeX,... There is also EPS2XXX function in the package that supports this, latter functionality.
