This software allows to load schlieren image sequence and calculate the statistics of the schlieren intensities. The shock wave extraction function will be added in the future.
Why do the statistics of schlieren intensities worth being investigated?
The statistics of schlieren intensities, such as Mean and Root Mean Square, can reveal the flow features that are now immediately available by observation of the raw schlieren snapshot.
