Nikolaos Giakoumoglou

I am an Electrical and Computer Engineer, specialized in deep learning applications for computer vision. In 2021, I received my diploma, a 5-year program with an integrated master's degree, from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), focusing on Electronics and Computers. Starting from January 2024, I am pursuing my PhD at Imperial College London (ICL), in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, within the Communications and Signal Processing Research Group. Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), in the Information Technologies Institute (ITI) department. My research interests include Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Self-supervised Learning, Object Detection, Image Classification, and Generative Models.
