I received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering from University of Florence (Italy) in 1992 and the Ph.D. (Doctor) degree in Systems Engineering from University of Bologna (Italy) in 1997. Since February 1998 I have been with the School of Engineering at the University of Firenze (Italy), where I am currently an Associate Professor of Control Systems at the Department of Information Engineering. My main research topics are in Nonlinear systems, Robust Control, Control Education and Atomic Force Microscopy. I am (co-)author of more than 80 publications in international journals and conference proceedings.
