How do fix errors like this - "The expression to the left of the equals sign is not a valid target for an assignment.". The code is given below which is showing the mentioned error when executed.

I am using matlab 2013 version,does matlab works in radians or degrees and can i change from degrees to radians (or) radians to degrees in the settings?
asin Inverse sine, result in radians. sin Sine of argument in radians.
