Dr. Peter L. Bishay is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering (ME) Department at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). His research topics are Computational Solid Mechanics, Smart Materials and Structures, Composite Materials, as well as Engineering Education. Dr. Bishay teaches variety of courses such as "Numerical Analysis of Engineering Systems", "Computer-Aided Analysis and Design", "Mechanics and Design of Composite Materials", "Mechanical Design using Composites", "Smart Materials and Structures", "Intro to Aircraft Structures" and "Advanced Finite Element Analysis". Dr. Bishay also leads senior design projects at CSUN.
