Description

Add-On Required: This feature requires the MATLAB Coder Support Package for PyTorch and LiteRT Models add-on.

coder.torchSetup launches the add-on installer to install the Python^® and Torch-MLIR library.

Examples

Install the Python and Torch-MLIR library

Use this command to install Python and the Torch-MLIR library to generate code for PyTorch models in R2026a.

coder.torchSetup

If MATLAB doesn't already have the third-party tools installed, this command launches the Add-On Installer.

Click Install to install the third-party tools.

R2026b: Removed

In R2026b, the coder.torchSetup function and the optional install workflow for Python and Torch-MLIR library have been removed. The support package installer now automatically installs all required third-party tools. For more information, see Install MATLAB Coder Support Package for PyTorch and LiteRT Models.
