Description

The Base rate task priority parameter sets the static priority of the base rate task of the Simulink^® model when deployed to the hardware.

The task priority rate for VxWorks^® follows a POSIX^® priority numbering system where higher value results in higher task priority.

Examples

Set Base Rate Task Priority

1. In the Simulink Editor, select Simulation > Model Configuration Parameters.

2. In the Configuration Parameters dialog box, click Hardware Implementation.

3. Set the Hardware board parameter to Altera Cyclone V SoC development kit and click Apply.

   The parameter values under Hardware board settings are automatically populated to their default values.

4. Set the Feature set for selected hardware board to Simulink or Embedded Coder Hardware Support Package and click Apply.

5. Change the Base rate task priority from the default value to the selected value and click Apply.

6. Click OK to close the dialog box.
