When you create an app package, MATLAB® analyzes your main file and attempts to include all the files that your app
uses. However, MATLAB does not guarantee to find every dependent file. It does not find files for
functions that your code references as character vectors (for instance, as arguments to
feval, and callback functions). In addition,
MATLAB can include some files that the main file never calls when it runs.
Dependency analysis searches for the following types of files:
Executable files, such as MATLAB program files, P-files, Fig-files, and MEX-files.
Files that your app accesses by calling standard and low-level I/O functions. These dependent files include text files, spreadsheets, images, audio, video, and XML files.
Files that your app accesses by calling any of these functions:
Dependency analysis does not search for Java® classes,
.jar files, or files stored in a scientific format
such as NetCDF or HDF. Click Add files/folders in the Package Apps
dialog box to add these types of files manually.
