Model Assessment
Evaluate and verify models
When you use the MBC Model Fitting app to fit statistical models to experimental data, the app automatically fits models to your data. After fitting, use the app tools to evaluate and verify the models with plots and statistics. For more information, see What Models Are Available?.

Topics
- Assess High-Level Model Trends
Use response model plots to assess high-level model trends.
- Assess One-Stage Models
Examine one-stage or response feature models at the global level.
- Assess Local Models
Examine models at the local level.
- Assess Two-Stage Models
Examine models at the response level.
- Assess Point-by-Point Models
Examine point-by-point models and choose the best fit.
- Assess Boundary Models
Use boundary models to constrain optimizations.
- Stepwise Regression
Use the Stepwise function to help find a good model fit.
- Box-Cox Transformation
Use the Box-Cox transformation and decide if it improves your models.
