Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting
Performance optimization includes various techniques for speeding up compilation of large models and for reducing simulation time. Converting your models into C code enables you to use the accelerator modes of Simulink® to reduce simulation time. Simscape™ run-time parameters allow you to speed up simulation tasks and modify parameter values without regenerating C code.
The Simscape Editing Mode functionality allows you to open, simulate, and save models that contain blocks from add-on products in Restricted mode, without checking out add-on product licenses, as long as the products are installed on your machine. It is intended to provide an economical way to distribute simulation models throughout a team or organization.
