Component Test Status

Description

The Component Test Status widget shows a summary of the current test statuses for each component model in the project. For each component model, you can see the number of tests associated with that model and the percentage of model, software-in-the-loop (SIL), and processor-in-the-loop (PIL) tests that have passed. The widget calculates the metric results using the latest available test results. The table contains these columns:

  • Artifact — Lists the Units in the project. By default, the dashboard analyzes all models inside your project folder and considers Simulink® models as units. If you do not see the list of models that you expect in the Artifact column, you can control what the dashboard classifies as a unit as shown in Categorize Models in Hierarchy as Components or Units.

  • Tests — Number of tests associated with the component model.

  • Model Tests Passed — Percentage of model tests that passed, with a hyperlink to the Model Testing Dashboard.

  • SIL Tests Passed — Percentage of SIL tests that passed, with a hyperlink to the SIL Code Testing dashboard.

  • PIL Tests Passed — Percentage of PIL tests that passed, with a hyperlink to the PIL Code Testing dashboard.

You can view detailed metric results by using the hyperlinks to open the associated dashboard. Additionally, you can sort or filter the metric results by using the controls in the column header.

Supported Artifacts

This metric collects metric results for Units in the project and analyses the tests and test results in the project folder. To control what the dashboard classifies as a unit, see Categorize Models in Hierarchy as Components or Units.

Collecting this metric requires a Simulink Test™ license.
