MMC-STATCOM Model running in Real-Time (Hybrid)
This example demonstrates the use of Phasor-to-Discrete Interface and Discrete-to-Phasor Interface blocks to run the MMC Grid STATCOM example in real-time
Description
This example is based on the MMC-STATCOM Model running in Real-Time (Discrete) example. The North Network is here simulated in phasor mode. Therfore, to connect the North Network to the South Network we are now using a combination of Phasor-to-Discrete Interface and Discrete-to-Phasor Interface blocks. The value specified for the Rc parameter and nominal frequency must be the same in both blocks. The value specified for the Sample time of discrete network parameter of the Phasor-To-Discrete Interface block must match the value of the sample time specified in the powergui block of the South Network. The value specified for the Sample time of phasor network parameter of the Discrete-To-Phasor Interface block must match the value of the sample time specified in the powergui block of the North Network.
