Reading EXCEL/CSV file Through S-Function

How can I read an excel/csv file using an S-Function? Earlier I tried using the Signal Builder block to read data from a sheet and then gave it as the inputs to my S-Function. Now I want to read it directly through the s-Function. Can someone please help me out with this
