How to change in a word file

Dear all

Hope all are keeping good. i have a egsphantom file which is word file and can be open in note pad and word pad too. it contains 3 medias like 1.air, 2.tissue and 3.bone. i want to change this file to 2 media like 1.air and 2.tissue. to convert i have to change all 3s to 2s. but it looks difficult to change them manually. is there any quick idea to change these?

Notepad cannot open (and display text of) Microsoft Word documents (.doc, .docx or .docm). I guess you have an ordinary text file.

It is possible to change "3.bone" to "2.tissue" automatically. Is that what you want?

It is also possible to change "3. any_name " to "2.tissue" automatically.
