Importing Kdd99 into matlab

I'm working on intrusion detection system based on support vector machine(svm)and other classification with kdd'99 dataset.The dataset includes both text and numerical data. I'll process the data with matlab but the problem is that i can not load the dataset to matlab.Who can help me??????
