Counting Using SIFT Features

Hey guys, I am new to computer vision and I have a question, lets say I have an image with a certain object-object1, I extract its SIFT features and now i have another image made up of many obecjt1s and i wish to use the SIFT features to count them. How can i go about doing this? Thanks.
