GADS - Global OPtimization Problem License problem

Hello dear MATLAB community,

I have a problem with the Global Optimization Toolbox. I want to set up a global optimization and get this error.

Error using GlobalSearch
License checkout failed.
License Manager Error -18
Diagnostic Information:
Feature: GADS_Toolbox

So I looked it up with the command ver but there I have the

Global Optimization Toolbox                           Version 3.2.2      (R2012b)

I checked google and MathWorks documentation says that the GADS-Toolbox is similar to the Global OPtimization Toolbox so why do I get an error? Thank you for our answer!

There are a couple of reasons why you get this error. Some you can resolve yourself, some your IT and in some cases you need MathWorks Installation Support. Please refer to this article to get an overview.
