I am unable to display my answers on command window

% Question 1:

a = [3 6 1 9; 6 5 3 7; 7 3 2 6];

disp(a);

% (a)

j = a(1,2);

disp(j);

if i use disp(a) it doesnt show my answer like this:

a =

3 6 1 9

6 5 3 7

7 3 2 6
