Using Slice for 3D matrix

I have a atmospheric variable which is a 3D Matrix in size (41,41,17), where Latitude = 41, Longitude = 41, and vertical atmospheric levels = 17.
I need to use the slice command for viewing all the vertical layers (1 to 17) one above another.
I also have matrix size (Latutude = 41x1, Longitude = 41x1, Vertical = 17x1)
I need to show the figure like this...
