How can I compile source code to build a Functional Mockup Unit (FMU) for Simulink Real-Time (SLRT) and Speedgoat targets?

The process explained in the documentation (see link below) to compile FMU from source code might be hard to reproduce. How can I create quickly a FMU for Simulink Real-Time from the corresponding source code?

Please call the function compileFMU_slrt.m using as input the FMU containing the sources. It will generate another FMU adding the slrt subfix that contains the binaries required for real-time simulation on a Simulink Real-Time target computer.
Boolean options 'mustOverwrite' and 'removeSources' add further options for the user.
