Adding hand tool to programmatic GUI

Hello, I am trying to find a way to add the hand tool to my GUI. I didn't create my GUI with GUIDE so i need a way to manually add it. Can anyone help?

Try this to change the cursor to a hand for your figure:

set(gcf,'Pointer','hand');

Or did you actually mean that you want to add a toolbar button/icon?

Oh, I didn't know from your original post that you wanted to zoom/pan/scroll your image/plot/graph. Well, glad you got it working.
