Decreasing the time used by Genetic Algorithm

hi everyone I have written a code related to a heavy, long genetic algorithm now I am trying to reduce the time needed for this algorithm. Anyone knows how? I already tried small things like using length(x) instead of numel(x) which makes no big difference
