"modified ebcot" is not very specific. Which modification? Are you referring to the paper "A Novel Image Compression Algorithm Using Ridgelet Transformation with Modified EBCOT" ?
Ready-made source to solve unspecified problems is seldom available.

@Pat: Of course the authors of this paper V. Sanchez, R. Abugharbieh and P. Nasiopoulos know exactly, what must done. And if reading teh paper and asking the authors does not help, it is absolutely impossible, that anyone can help you.

@Walter: Is "Ready-made source to solve unspecified problems is seldom available." your opinion or do you know any scientific investigations which could confirm this? I assume you have chosen the term "seldom" to consider the infinite monkey program (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinite_monkey_theorem), which finds a solution for any simple recursive problem, but this will take a while.

Jan, I have observed cases where someone asks something vague, and someone else responds with a solution to what would appear to be a quite different problem, with the original poster then responding to say that that was exactly what they needed. I cannot explain it, but I have seen it happen often enough that I avoid saying "never".
