ERROR: No method 'ReadWaveform' with matching signature found for class

2 visualizzazioni (ultimi 30 giorni)
I've been following the webinars on how to use the instrumentation control toolbox and have gotten everything to work so far, but i'm stuck at clicking on "ReadWaveform" under Functions for my Device Object. I am connected to the device. My input argument is 'Channel 1' and output argument: x, y. I'm trying to get data from an oscilloscope. I received the error: "No method 'ReadWaveform' with matching signature found for class ..."
What do I need to do? Thanks.

The example I find here uses 'readWaveform' with a lower-case R. That might perhaps be significant.

Using your example and another example I found within Matlab help I was able to use ReadWaveform. I'm still unable to use this from the Test and Measurement Tool screen.

After using the examples with just typing the commands I tried the Test and Measurement tool again and my problem was I was putting 'Channel 1' as the input and I should have been entering the number for Max Time. The Matlab webinar that covers this topic uses 'Channel 1' but it was a different oscilloscope. The webinar is misleading because it can not be used universally.
