Just upgraded to 2021b, and found this very issue.
Blown away this functionality has been (silently) removed.
Poor workaround:
Cut the portion of code into another window, do the replace there, and paste it back.
Gosh THAT'S simple and efficient. Not.
Can someone please point to the fix for this?

With all due respect, Chris, i suggest that MathWorks pulls its acts together and fix this annoying bug
And if in order to make it happen MathWorks needs my annoyance to be registered via customer support -- you have my permission to do that

Agreed here. This is really stupid.
Several changes made recently to the editor have removed awesome features like the increment and rerun cell feature.
Nobody wants to use live scripts for everything. I don't want a sliders or gui features or none of that.
