Content based image retrival

Hi, I wanted to ask that for CBIR using CNN is it madatory to divide images into training & validation set. Or just Training :Test will work.

Hi,

It recommended that you divide the dataset into three part:

• Training set : for training the model
• Validation set : for hyper-parameter tuning
• Test set : for test the model

You can use cvparition to divide the datasets.
