Can anyone tell why the support package for RTL-SDR failed to download in Matlab2021b ?

I got this error while downloading support package for rtl-sdr "This support package is currently unable to download third-party software for MATLAB R2017a and earlier versions. For details and workaround, see this Bug Report.".I didn't get any solution.Any help is appreciable.

It looks to me as if you need the Phased Array Toolbox for that.

Hi,

As per my understanding, you are facing issues while trying to use the Communications Toolbox Support Package for RTL-SDR Radio.

If the installation of the support package fails with “Download Error” message, refer to the installation instructions provided in the following documentation link:

Run the following command at the start of a new MATLAB session before using Communications Toolbox Support Package for RTL-SDR Radio features:

sdrsetup

I noticed that there is “Error code - 12” message in one of the provided images (error2.png). The error occurs when a test connection fails during the hardware setup process (USB connectivity issue).
