information about 'shfunc' in matlab

I would like to ask if anyone has information on 'shfunc', I have a code with that function and it doesn't run. Exit: Undefined function 'shfunc' for input arguments of type 'sym'. how can I solve that.

The code for shfunc is at the bottom of the page of https://kratos-wiki.cimne.upc.edu/index.php/Matlab_code_Shape_Functions_1D_Lagrangian . Look after the first white gap.
