Unable to install MATLAB 2022a on my new Mac (Moterey)

I downloaded the latest matlab 2022a but failed to install it. After clicking "InstallForMacOSX", the matlab icon poped up and was hopping in the dock. But it dissapeared after a while and there is not pop-up window to let me enter my account &password. Is this because this is a new computer and its security blocked the intallation? How could I solve this problem? Thank you for your help :)

Possibly. You should look at your Security and Privacy settings in the System Preferences. There might be an entry there saying that access had been requested.

I just checked my Security and Privacy and I didn't find such entry. Could you provide more specific guide? Appreciate it!

Sorry, I do not have Monterey installed at all.

It’s super weird. I restarted my computer and install 2021b instead and it worked.

Thanks! Yes, I happened to try restarting yesterday too after seeing that it worked for some other program and I was able to install 2022a.
