Which Linux Desktop Environment is MATLAB supported on?

I am using the MATE desktop environment with Debian to run MATLAB, and I frequently encounter UI and graphic problems. What Linux desktop environments and windows managers are supported?

For each distribution, MATLAB is only tested against the default desktop environment and windows manager.
